![]() The classic IPA style was developed when English brewers were making a beer for export to troops in colonial India. Transporting these beers required a long sea voyage through drastic temperature changes. High hops and alcohol were needed for preservation. Dan's IPA from Idaho Brewing Company features multiple varieties of hops for a pleasant bitterness, flavor and distinct aroma. Definitely hoppy but not overpowering. Pale and Crystal malt backs up the hoppy character. Pairs well with spicy cuisines, barbeque and cheese.
